The arrival of the newly redesigned 2020 Ford Explorer heralds a sleek, luxurious driving experience complete with cutting-edge technology, power and comfort. Available in five trim levels, there’s a style and price level for every Explorer lover interested in Ford’s newest offering.
The all-new Explorer is redesigned from the ground up. No detail was overlooked in the planning and execution of the sport utility vehicle that features spacious seating (a third row that accommodates adults) and a plenty of get-up-and-go, thanks to three engine choices (2.3L EcoBoost I-4, 3.3L Hybrid V6 and 3.0L EcoBoost V6) all with 10 speed automatic with SelectShift capability. The Explorer is available in XLT, Limited, Limited Hybrid, ST and Platinum trim levels.
In fact, the all-new 2020 Explorer Hybrid is a 3.3-liter hybrid engine that produces 318 horsepower and is projected to return an EPA-estimated range of more than 500 miles between gas station fill-ups in the rear-wheel-drive model.
From everything under the aluminum hood all the way back to the towing hitch, the 2020 Explorer was designed to get people and things where they need to go safely and efficiently. The rear-wheel-drive architecture enables an improved on and off-road capability and 600 pounds more in max towing capacity when equipped with available 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine.
The new design doesn’t quite drive itself, but the array of driver-assist technology is more comprehensive than any other vehicle in its class.
