The same spacious, versatile and tech-savvy van you’ve come to rely on, but now with more connectivity, efficiency and flexibility while reducing cost-of-operation by 40% over a 8yr/100k miles compared to gas powered Transits. Everything you need to know about the E-Transit model options, charging capabilities and pre-order information in one place.
Fleet Ready, All-Electric Ford E-Transit Vans
With the 2024 Ford E-Transit, fleet managers are able to track, monitor and receive alerts at any time the E-Transit is driving, parked or charging. Maximize your fleet uptime with real-time monitoring of the EV powertrain tracking kilowatt hours used, distance to empty and charging speed. Receive alerts if vans are broken into, aren’t charging at specified times, damaged, or driven without authorization.
Will your fleet drivers charge from home? Not a problem, with the E-Transit telematics, charging hours can be calculated based on location and time giving fleet managers the ability to reimburse drivers for at home charging usage.
When managing a fleet, safety comes first and Ford E-Transit doesn’t disappoint with the ability for drivers to receive real time alerts to improve driving behavior. If drivers accelerate too fast, exceed speed limits or don’t have seatbelts buckled, they will receive alerts to help modify their driving habits to help keep everyone on the road safer.

Performance and Capability
The 2024 Ford E-Transit offers rapid acceleration with immediate torque to the wheels when the driver taps the pedal. The all-electric van has a superior, long-lasting lithium-ion battery, which is integrated within the frame. Another E-Transit feature is Pro Power Onboard, which provides 2.4 kW of electrical power to operate tools and equipment while on the job site.
Targeted maximum payload ratings:
- Cargo van: 3,880 lbs.
- Chassis Cab: 4,390 lbs.
- Cutaway: 4,428 lbs.
With 2.4-kW Pro Power Onboard, a contractor could run a power miter saw and a ½-horsepower air compressor by plugging in to the 120-volt/20-amp outlets in the cargo area.
Need to charge tools between job sites? Pro Power Onboard stays active while driving, which allows owners to charge their electric-powered tools between jobs.
40% Less Operating Cost
Electrifying your fleet comes with savings. The Ford E-Transit vans don’t use oil and other moving parts that need to be maintained and fixed over time. The scheduled maintenance costs on E-Transit are estimated to be 40% less than the average scheduled maintenance compared to a gas powered 2020 Transit over an 8 year and 100,000 miles time frame. Additionally, it is expected the E-Transit will qualify for a federal tax credit of $7,500.
Less noise means your vehicles can move around at any time, day or night, becasue the electric cargo van is battery run and the drivetrain creates little to no noise as eases through the jobsite, neighborhood or local streets. Noise restrictions will never be a problem again for your all-electric cargo van fleet.
Need to work indoors? With zero-emissions the E-Transit can operate where gas combustion engines aren’t able to access. Add in the Pro Power Onboard and your crew won’t even need a power outlet to run power saws, drills or any other power tool that needs electricity.
