The Maverick Lobo is the newest trim in the 2025 Maverick model lineup and offers street-performance power and handling on a street-truck design inspired by the lowered truck era of the 1980s to early 2000s. Compared to Maverick, ride height is a half-inch lower in the front and 1.12 inches lower in the rear, and roof height is 0.8 inches lower.
Powered by the 238-hp 2.0L four-cylinder paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission, the Lobo is uniquely calibrated for closed course handling with tuned steering and torque vectoring through the twin-clutch rear drive unit.

Maverick Lobo Wheels & Handling
19ā Turbofan-styled Black Painted Aluminum Wheels are standard on the Lobo along with Paddle Shifters, Performance Drive Mode, Performance Tuned Steering.
Tuned steering makes Maverick Lobo drive more like a performance car, with torque vectoring through a twin-clutch rear drive unit and bigger, enhanced brakes with dual-piston front brake calipers used on the Focus ST sold in Europe. Inspired by drifting and autocross, thereās also a new Lobo drive mode, which improves cornering performance, grip, and stability, helping to minimize understeer.
The Lobo utilizes the larger radiator and fan from Maverick’s 4K towing package and a transmission oil cooler to ensure it’s ready to handle real performance driving.
Maverick Lobo Interior
Thereās Grabber Blue and Electric Lime accent stitching, a graffiti-inspired overprint on the seats as a nod to street culture, and the Lobo name embossed into the black driver and passenger seats.
This color combination is a nod to current streetwear trends, where multiple colors are often used together in a way that brings harmony without matching perfectly.
2025 Maverick Lobo Configurations
The 2025 Maverick LOBO comes standard with the same features as the Maverick XLT with 2.0L EcoBoost and Advanced Four-Wheel Drive with Twin Clutch Rear Drive Unit.
A High package will be offered which adds heated steering wheel and seats, Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver-assist technologies, a 360-degree camera, spray-in bedliner, moon roof, and, beginning early in 2025, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.
