Pre-Condition Your Ford EV
- Setup the departure time through SYNC Screen
- Select the home button on the SYNC Screen
- Select Charging
- Select Departure and Comfort
- Adjust the days of the week, the time, and the cabin temperature
- Save Settings
- Setup departure time through FordPass
- Select the Vehicle tab and departure time
- Select add departure
- You can adjust the days of the week, the time, and the cabin temperature
Maximize Your Battery Health
Similar to smartphone batteries, your Ford EV’s battery health will benefit from a longer lifespan if you only charge to 90% and not allowing it to drain down to zero.
- Setup departure time through FordPass
- Select the Vehicle tab and departure time
- Select the charge setting dropdown
- Choose preferred charge times
- Select the location you want to manage
- Use the sliding bar to adjust the charge level
- You can also change your charge times from the screen as well
- Save your settings!
With your FordPass app, you will be notified that your Ford EV has reached its preset temperature and will allow you not to use any unnecessary battery power.
